The opportunity

Help us make work simpler, faster, and more effective.

Red Carrot is a strategic communications, marketing, creative, and professional services company. We’re looking for a curious recent graduate who wants to understand how a business works, solve operational problems, and turn AI ideas into useful tools and better processes.

You’ll work with leadership and colleagues to identify inefficiencies, research solutions, and put improvements into practice. You should be comfortable taking initiative, learning unfamiliar tools, and moving a project forward independently while knowing when to ask questions.

What you’ll do

  • Examine how teams work, identify repetitive tasks and bottlenecks, and recommend practical improvements.

  • Use AI for research, analysis, organizing information, and developing solutions to business problems.

  • Build and test automations, simple tools, trackers, and workflows that reduce manual work and improve accuracy.

  • Take improvement projects from problem definition through implementation, documentation, and follow-up.

  • Talk with colleagues to understand their needs and help them adopt useful tools and processes.

  • Measure whether changes save time, reduce errors, or make work easier.

  • Check AI outputs for accuracy and use approved tools with appropriate care for confidential information.

What you’ll bring

  • A completed bachelor’s degree in business or industrial engineering.

  • Curiosity about how things work and persistence in figuring out how to improve them.

  • Practical experience using AI beyond basic questions—including research, analysis, and building an automation or simple tool.

  • The ability to organize your work, follow through, and communicate progress and obstacles clearly.

  • Comfort working with spreadsheets, data, and unfamiliar software.

  • Sound judgment about when to proceed independently and when to seek input.

School projects, internships, personal projects, and work experience can all demonstrate these abilities. Prior experience is required.

What success looks like in your first 90 days

  • Understand key team workflows and identify specific opportunities for improvement.

  • Prioritize opportunities with leadership based on their value and feasibility.

  • Implement at least one useful process improvement, automation, or simple tool.

  • Document how it works, help colleagues use it, and evaluate its results.

Show us how you think

Please share an example of a problem you solved or a process you improved using AI, automation, or data. Explain the problem, what you built or changed, how you checked your work, and what you learned. Academic and personal projects are welcome.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
