Audiovisual Specialist
Location: Washington, DC (On-Site)
Travel: Travel beyond the minimum local commuting area of 50 miles from the primary place of performance will be required
Clearance: Current Public Trust or the ability to obtain one

Key Responsibilities:
- Serves as videographer, still photographer, podcast audio producer and digital media editor for a variety of communication products.
- Products include external communication videos; video news stories; videography and photography of special events, conferences, symposiums and community activities and technical assistance and training videos.
- Establishes requirements for multimedia projects based on the customer’s objectives, arranges for the recording of required media onsite, such as B-roll and interviews with subject matter experts, and oversees products to completion.
- Provides multimedia support for digital media using appropriate software, including, but not limited to, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator and After Effects.
- Prepares digital media through various communication outlets, including web and social media. Responsible for story development and conducting video interviews. Visual communications will be in accordance with appropriate branding and editorial style guides.
- Responsible for consistently upgrading and maintaining technical
- Contribute to creative content development processes where required.
- Bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism, video production or related communication field from an accredited college or university and five (5) years of related experience; or
- Master’s degree in broadcast journalism, video production or related communication field from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of related experience; or
- High-school diploma or equivalent and seven (7) years of experience in broadcast journalism, video production or related broadcast field.
- Five (5) years of directly relevant multimedia experience involving frequent, high-level technical and time-critical needs in the visual marketing, media and public information service areas.
- Experience in delivering projects with specific results and deadlines.
- Effective interpersonal skills and oral and writing skills, as well as project management abilities.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite
- Must be proficient in developing motion graphics, operating digital cameras and other audiovisual recording equipment and using digital media editing software
